Detroit singer/songwriter Susan Calloway has been garnering a lot of attention recently for her work with Distant Worlds, music from the game sensation Final Fantasy. What began as a simple request from Grammy award winning conductor Arnie Roth & Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu has turned into something of a career highlight for Calloway.
The Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA) announced their initial round of nominees for the 2010 award show. Amongst HMMA’s first nominees, Susan is nominated in the Adult Contemporary category for her song “Don’t Fall In Love” from her “Chasin the Sun” EP.
The HMMA’s will take place, in November 2010, at The Highlands in Hollywood, where Susan will have the opportunity to walk the red carpet...
On May 20th, Susan had a 10 minute interview followed by a one song performance (Don't Fall in Love) on Fox News' online channel the "Strategy Room." This event was be filmed in Fox's midtown Manhattan studios.
